THE PHANTOM wrote:Belated congrats to you my good friend Cheri and your bloody lucky man of a husband. I too had 'a friend for life ' played (not sung) at my wedding to my lovely Pauline, it just seemed the only fitting lyric and melody appropriate bar none. Update on me is I will be at the stables, I am at Mount Vernon hospital tomorrow to find out how long roughly I have left as chemotherapy has failed. Mark xxx
Phantom, I'm so glad to hear from you and so horribly disappointed at your news.
I am thrilled you will be at The Stables; we are having dinner beforehand. Check with Deborah as to the time and place. I WANT YOU THERE! Will you be at Bilston, too?
The best thing I can tell you is that we now have to take every opportunity to have the best times of our lives, live life to the fullest, love and spend time with our friends and family, party and laugh and just have the best time we can. So, please come to dinner and enjoy the concert with me and our friends. It's very important to me to spend as much quality time with you as possible. Please consider Bilston, too, as we may have before- and after-parties planned. Again, check with Deborah about that.
I'm really looking forward to seeing you again. You have been a very important part of my Steve Harley life.
I love you and want to have some more great times with you, the dashing Phantom!
Much love, Cheri
P.S. I think Jimbo will be at the concerts, too. Deborah will know if he's coming to dinner beforehand.
