there is no need to change the region with POWERDVD ,if its only playing music ,i would say you have some kind of CD ,can you play USA dvd on POWER DVD player?,your whole experience has been disrupted by a dodgy disc ,like i said earlier ,i have used this programme for a long time ,and i trust it ,just wait and see how it goes when you receive the disc from rachel

Stella, it would by my most precious wish to see Steve Harley in concert and even meet him in person, but unfortunately I can't afford it timewise or moneywise. :( I envy you your access to his venues. You don't know how lucky you are, or maybe you do. ;)

Crazy Horse, I thought all along that the seller of this so-called DVD sent me a CD that was rewritten over an old CD of Live at the BBC and then put into a legitimate cover that said it was a DVD video. It's made me very wary of eBay. I'll wait for Rachel's DVD and let you know what happens. :) Any ideas on where I can purchase the "Acoustic and Pure" CD? Take care.

Good news, Crazy Horse, I tried a US DVD ("The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus" from 1968) that I bought a few years ago after seeing it on public television. It worked!!! I forgot how good it was, they had on Jethro Tull (one of my faves), The Who (another one of my faves), Taj Majal, Marianne Faithful, John Lennon, Yoko Ono, and Eric Clapton (and, of course, the Rolling Stones). AND I noticed that when the DVD was playing, POWER DVD showed it as a DVD video -- when I was playing Steve's "Live in London", it showed as an Audio CD. So I was right about getting ripped off by a disreputable seller, but at least I have the songs on my Steve Harley playlist.

Cheri, There's no alternative other than to get yourself over here for some gigs. I'm sure the network of fans will help to look after you and Ana. Why don't you join Steve's friends on Facebook.......unless you already have.

Believe me, there is nothing like seeing him in the flesh!! ;)

I spoke with a dear friend last night who is wise in all things air-fare/travel related and it's probably going to deeply reduce my travel costs so this is really gonna happen! You fans are so kind and I am so grateful for your well wishes!

I am on the official SH FB page! (I also Follow Robbie! :))

You're good, Crazy Horse, you're good. ;) The true test will be when I receive Rachel's DVD. Keep your fingers crossed. :)
