This was not a good Christmas for me. A week ago, my Mom developed a condition that caused her to go blind! The medication they prescribed for the condition caused her to have diabetes to the point that she has to have two injections of insulin per day. The blindness is irreversible. She also can't walk.
For a bit of Christmas cheer, on Christmas Eve I went over to a friend's for a lovely dinner with her family, a 9:30 p.m. church service, and more festivities at her parents' house afterwards. When I got home, I checked my mailbox. Inside was a DVD from Amazon UK of Steve's 1989 tour, "Come Back, All is Forgiven."
I didn't even think that order went through as I hadn't verified my PayPal account. Anyway, it really put a smile on my face.
With some trepidation, I put the DVD into my computer and fired up POWER DVD. The DVD played!!
I stayed up until 3:00 a.m. watching Steve move about onstage and sing some great songs. Now I know I can play Region 2 DVDs on my computer, thanks to Crazy Horse. Thank you, Crazy Horse! (**Cheri hugs Crazy Horse**) Now, when Rachel's DVD comes, I know I will be able to play it. And I can also search out the "Live From London" DVD to replace the Audio CD that came in a Video DVD case. Anyway, it made me feel better and took my mind off my troubles for a bit. Thought you all might want to know.
I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas.
Cheri
