I lost my job last month.
I got myself a better job this week.
I went to purchase tickets for wavendon but it's sold out.

I kinda promised our american friend i would escort her to the gig and supply accommodation for her and get her all or part of the way to the next gig/set of fans. I will keep my promise but it means I will be sitting in the car during the show.
Does anyone out there have a ticket for sale? I know alizarinstag has one so it's just me sadly lacking.

I'm sorry about you losing your job, but I'm glad you got a better one. As for the concert, is that the one where AlizarinStag was given TWO free tickets? If so, can you use one of them?

Oh man! I am so glad you got a better job after sadly losing the first man!

I am so sorry you were unable to score a ticket for the Wavendon show. Your offer is still awesome even if it doesn't come to pass.

We'll think of something. If I had more info currently on the other two shows I'm trying to see (in theory) I'd just offer you the one I bought for Wavendon. Then you'd still get to see a show!

I really need to start hammering out details with people. Like gathering contact info and stuff, so I can buy my bus tickets. The boards been quiet lately. I don't want to bother anyone.

Sorry have to agree with the phantom, i really have concerns about your visit that is why i havent posted lately, it really started when i suggested a festival during your visit and you replied you couldnt afford it?

To enter the uk you have to show that you are able to support yourself throughout your visit.

Originally i did try and set up something for both our new american fans, unfortunately it didnt work out.
when u confirmed ur travel once again i tried to help out but then found out you were visiting friends in england.

I am sorry to say this but i feel its a bit of a set up, you seem to have enough funds to come to the uk to visit friends but have no money for anything else? The Phahtom has offered accomodation and travel yet you seem reluctant to allow him your spare free ticket donated by Steve himself??

My opinion is you cancel your tickets as customs may refuse your entry to the uk because of lack of funds, and i work for the UKBA

prima donna- I'm not really sure the picture my posts have painted for you, I merely said I couldn't afford the concert fest on the basis that I am (was?) attending 3 other shows, travling to them by coach, and also spending 4 days in the London area with a friend. (Several days before I go to the first gig and several after the other two, not at the show cities. Just when I am preparing to leave.) I'm sorry if not wanting to add something to my itnerary makes me seem suspect.

Ticket: 1100 US Dollars
Most Coach Fees: roughly 40 pounds.

A few people offered me help, some a place to stay and I'd be silly to say no to the chance to save a couple bucks and meet really cool people. I didn't know accepting a friendly offer would reflect on me so badly. I'm so sorry. I have never traveled abroad before. I'm not sure how to make any of this better. I'm sorry.

I wouldn't be coming all the way and not seeing a show. I was just trying to pass on the kindess others have shown me. :( *I* bought my Wavendon Ticket. I was offering what I had bought, not what I'd been offered. I only have one ticket for Wavendon. I bought it before anyone offered me anything. If you meant me not offering one of the two tickets offered to me so generously by Steve, I'm not sure it its set in stone for that venue yet. I asked about Leamington Spa and I haven't (understandably) heard back yet. I'm not even sure our lovely Phantom would be able to make it to that locale. If he was, ofcourse I would share that ticket with him, in a heart beat. How do I seem reluctant to share anything with anyone?
